Issam Ourrai’s doctoral research examines how entrepreneurial ecosystems and entrepreneurship education shape venture creation, with field cases at UT Austin (United States), UM6P (Morocco) and the PÉPITE network (France).

MoorInnov is the applied side of that work: an open observatory of the transnational Moroccan entrepreneurial ecosystem. The methodology documents how actors are identified, classified and verified, and the Ecosystem Vitality Index applies it to regional scoring. Open data is published under a CC licence and available on the datasets page.

Issam Ourrai teaches digital innovation at IÉSEG School of Management and Big Data & Data Mining at ISC Paris. Teaching material on ecosystem structure draws on the same framework as the MoorInnov methodology.

Issam Ourrai founded Creativebox.ma, an incubator and coworking space in Morocco, and works as a Product Owner on financial-markets software.
